OYSTER SPECIAL ON WEDNESDAYS! Need I say more? I ordered three dozen and could've easily had more! The service was great and the atmosphere was lively. We sat outside and it wasn't too loud or crowded. I got the lobster roll and bisque combo. The bisque was tasty but the lobster roll was just okay. I wouldn't get the lobster roll again and instead opt for more oysters.

Had a phenomenal time here. Food was good. Service was amazing. Great vibes. Drinks were pretty good. I love a good old fashioned.

Food and service were excellent. Try the lobster roll, buffalo fried shrimp (a tad spicy) and the French fries were really good.

One of my favorite places to get oysters! I come here frequently and never have a bad experience. I don't eat raw oysters but my family had them and said they were awesome. I had the oyster Danielle and they're so good. If you like fried oysters you'll love these. The sauce that comes on them are so flavorful adds a nice touch. The atmosphere is very casual. Perfect for a quick lunch date or family outing. I would suggest getting the oyster sampler to try all of them.

I came here for the first time and I loved the vibes. It wasn't overly busy and we were serviced right away. My date and I decided to go with the blackened grouper. The fish was fresh and soft. The only reason I'm taking a star away is because the fish could have used more blackened seasoning and the fried okra could have been a little crispy. However I loved how versed their menu was and can't wait to come back to try their famous lobster bisque. Great neighborhood spot with a rooftop and good prices.

I was in town for the Peachtree 10k. Someone tipped me off to the Steamhouse Lounge. For starters, I ordered the 6 oysters/6 shrimp. Chilled and very good. For my meal, I chose the Low Country Shrimp Boil. It had 12 shrimp in it and was very good. I sat at the bar where the bartender was nice and the manager even checked on me. Only thing I didn't prefer was the canned beer as I prefer draft beer. Though, I was able to try a couple of local beers.

I recently visited Steamhouse Lounge with a friend, driven by a craving for oysters. We both chose the oyster sampler, which included two Rockefeller, two Danielle, and two Garlic Parmesan oysters. For my main course, I ordered the lobster roll with a side of lobster bisque, while my friend opted for the grilled shrimp with fries. The oyster sampler was outstanding. The Rockefeller oysters, topped with a rich mixture of spinach, herbs, and breadcrumbs, were delightful. The Garlic Parmesan oysters, featuring a savory blend of garlic and melted Parmesan cheese, were equally delicious. However, my favorite was the Danielle oysters, which were fried and topped with a rich, tasty sauce. They were uniquely flavorful and stood out from the rest. The lobster roll, served on a hot poppy seed bun with butter on the side, was delicious. The lobster bisque was immaculate--I could have eaten it all day. As always, Steamhouse Lounge did not disappoint. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, and my friend did as well. If you love seafood or have a passion for oysters and are in Atlanta, Steamhouse Lounge is a must-visit. Would definitely return!

This is a beachy, casual seafood spot and the food is delicious. I enjoyed fish tacos, oyster tacos, shrimp nachos and the crab cake. I would definitely visit again when I'm in town.

My husband and I were visiting Atlanta during Christmas-time, and popped into the Steamhouse Lounge on local family's recommendation. It was the first meal we ate in Atlanta and I have to say, it was definitely the best! The exterior and interior have cool, laid-back, almost beachy vibes. The staff are also very welcoming and chill. Our server was Charley and he was absolutely great. He gave great recommendations and answered questions we had. He suggested a good beer for me (SweetWater 420 Extra Pale Ale) that was refreshing and surprisingly light. My husband isn't a beer drinker at all and he even liked it. The Steamhouse Lounge is also super affordable for the high caliber of food they offer. As just one example, you can get a dozen fresh oysters for under $20! We didn't order the amazing oysters dozen (this time), but I'll let you know what we did snag: -To begin, we started with the John's Famous Cold Crab Dip. My better half was a little skeptical about it because he didn't think he was a fan of cold crab items in the past - but this made him a believer! It was a cold lump of crab meat, but it came with these perfect little pita points that were toasty and warm. The two temperatures and flavors were SO amazing together. I'm dreaming about eating that right now, just writing about it! -My husband got the Caesar salad as well, and it was expertly prepared. Each piece of lettuce was perfectly coated in Caesar dressing and parmesan cheese. Not too much as to make it soggy, not too dry to make it not as tasty. Just perfect. -We both had a bowl of the famed Lobster Bisque. This is an absolute must if you come here. It is FULL of lobster chunks and so creamy and decadent. It has a little kick to it, too, which I enjoyed as sometimes soups can get a little too creamy. -For my entree (after all these starters LOL), I got the Crab Cake Melt, and did hush puppies for my side. The melt was delicious and perfectly seasoned/cooked, but the star of the show was the hush puppies. Why? Because I dipped them in my lobster bisque and it was UH-MAZING. I made my husband try it with his bisque, and there went half my hush puppies LOL -He ordered the Lobster Roll, and it was a super hefty serving of lobster on a hot poppy seed bun, with buttery sauce on the side and some lemon to squeeze on it if you like that. I had a bite and it was delish; I may order that next time we go (and we WILL be back). If you are in Atlanta, I don't care what area, make your way to The Steamhouse Lounge - you will not regret it!

Exactly what you expect - its a divey seafood shack but very spacious. I had a whole bench to myself which I was able to get with no wait time. Tons of tvs inside which I was able to watch a lifetime movie while enjoy my meal. They are not shy with the amount of lobster. They let the ingredients do the talking with the simplicity. The lobster roll was alright, it needed a like more TLC. The bisque however is really good. It was my favorite part of the meal. Good flavor and full of seafood. Great lunchtime spot.
